Doctor's Visit

I took Gavyn in for his two month checkup, I can't believe he is already 2 MONTHS OLD!!! They said he's just a normal guy weighing in at 12.6 pounds and his length was 22.75 inches. He is in the 50th percentile for his weight and his height. They sure did take this smile off his face when he got his immunizations and he was pretty mad about it all day. He is such a good baby, but this day he cried all afternoon. However, we made it through and we are feeling much better. On the other hand...I had to take Grayson in too, amongst his kicking, screaming and hitting. Man he doesn't like the doctor's office. Dr. Capra and I had to hold him down just to look in his ears. This is the first time I realized my 2 year old might just be stronger than me... his ears were good it was his 2nd year top molars coming in. So in the end, both boys were healthy and I made it through the first visit with two kids. Woohoo!!!

Gavyn 2 Months Old

Gavyn is growing so fast I just want to capture every moment. He is smiling, talking and kicking his legs all the time. It's so cute!!!! He is two months old today and as happy as can be. Life is good...

We Love You Garrett!!

My brother left for Afghanistan last Monday and he was able to see most of our family before he left for 9 months. He is constantly in my prayers and I ask everyone to remember our soldiers and keep them in your prayers. It is so easy to forget that we are still at war, until it hits close to home. However, I am so grateful to all of our troops for fighting for our country. I feel so blessed to have such a great family!!!

Grayson's friend Brighton turned 3 and had a cowgirl birthday party in her backyard that consisted of a horse, a baby calf, and a goat. Yep, that's right... only in Texas could anyone make that happen!!!

I decided at the last minute to get pictures taken before I had Gavyn. I mean literally the last minute, the pictures were taken a couple of days before Gavyn was born. Marc was working, but I wish he could have been there for the session. I finally got the photos in the mail and wanted to share them.
